ST MARGARET'S CHURCH
In times of stress and uncertainty those who govern us call for a new spirit. In Britain
our new PM evokes the spirit of Dunkirk. Yet, no one can domesticate the spirit. It is
as wayward as the wind. It is as unique as the cardiogram. Where there is no spirit a
human being might be as waxwork or photocopy, waiting for that spark to ignite.
Spirit is a given, the God given, and the verb is ‘receive’. Jesus invites us to be open
hearted and receptive to His Spirit.
Welcome to Worship
